Ko's Journey

Ko's Journey is a rich story-based math game. Designed for both home and classroom use, Ko's Journey can be used as support curriculum to teach early middle-school math. From simple functions such as multiplication and division to calculating area, understanding graphs to pre-algebra concepts, Ko's Journey aims to provide a motivating and effective learning environment for 5th to 8th grade students to learn the core, most important concepts in middle-school math. Scott has been teaching for 11 years and is sought as a consultant for best practices in mathematics specializing at the middle school level.  For the past 6 years, Scott has created rich, story-based math games for classroom use that have not only effectively increased test scores but have changed the student's view about math.  As founder of Imagine Education, Scott is dedicated to reforming math education and building products by the teacher for the teacher.

Current Projects

Ko's Journey is everyone's rites of passage story in which students discover how to navigate the world through gaining mathematical skills.  Students have the opportunity to break patterns of emotional resistance and find purpose in math. Released summer 2010. 

Set in Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilation, Empires brings the classroom together to build an economic community that reinforces fundamental math skills and sets a foundation for financial literacy.  Planned release Fall 2012.  Investment opportunities available - please contact us!
